Many hypnotherapists start out in the field because of a positive experience as patients. While hypnotherapy is known to be effective for certain conditions, the mechanisms aren’t fully understood. It’s one of the reasons it’s a tricky service for hypnotherapists to market. Even more so because many hypnotherapists quit their day jobs (or go part time) to follow their passion, but have limited if any sales & marketing training.
Helen Mitas was one of those people, and after a lot of trial and error, she was able to sort out what works best for hypnotherapists who want to make their passion their full time gig. She now trains hypnotherapists around the world on growing a 6 figure practice and beyond.
We wrote this Guide to attract hypnotherapists in the early stages of their business to overcome their difficulties in attracting clients. Helen outlined 9 low cost, simple marketing tactics that she still uses today, and we turned them into the copy and design for this Guide. The marketing objective is to position Helen as a credible, trustworthy and supportive coach and introduce prospects to Helen’s 15 Steps to Hypnotherapy Business Success online program and coaching services.
In terms of the mechanics, this Guide is offered on a landing page in exchange for the visitor’s name and email address. We’ve integrated a Mailchimp signup form into the page to capture the visitor’s details, and (rather than the default ‘final welcome email’) an automation sequence sends the Guide via email.
We’re currently working hard on building an automated ‘nurture’ sequence to answer many of the common questions, problems and uncertainties that early-stage hypnotherapists have. Watch this space.
