For a hypnotherapist, one of the first points of contact with Helen Mitas‘ brand is this landing page, designed to attract hypnotherapists in the early stages of growing their practice and offer a downloadable guide in exchange for name and email.

The downloadable guide is a PDF outlining 9 low cost, simple marketing tactics well suited to hypnotherapists just starting out in their practice.

Helen is a Mailchimp user, so we’ve integrated a Mailchimp signup form into the WordPress page. Mailchimp by default requires a double opt in process, which causes too much friction in a content download scenario, so we’re using a plugin to subscribe the person directly to the Mailchimp list and trigger an automated email to deliver the Guide without the person needing to confirm via email.

In the near future we’ll be linking to it from social media posts on Helen’s very popular following on Facebook. And we’ll do some PPC campaigning on Facebook as well.
